In the very near future IR will be releasing a full length album “DUBVERSIVE” which will feature brand new material with the likes of Dr Das ,Ramjac, Deeder Zaman , Adrian Sherwood, Asian Dub Foundation,Delroy “Fatta” Pottinger ,D. WattsRiot , Sawandi, Jah 9 aka Janine Cunningham,Tapedave,Christiane D, Soy Sos,Tohununo & Olovotu .
Just ahead of that IR is taking the opportunity to rerelease some older material that they reacquired full rights to .
IR has rereleased through our french distributor Believe Digital the releases “IR 19 Basslines and Ballastics ” and “IR 21 Still Dancing On John Wayne’s Head ” They feature remastered tracks,new IR edits and unreleased remixes .You can obtain these tracks via digital download platforms like rhapsody, emusic, itunes here

From the rereleased cd “IR21 : Still Dancing On John Wayne’s Head ” by The Fire This Time comes this 1998 Asian Dub Foundation mix of the track “Reluctant Warrior” this is the original 4 trak mix that later became”Committed To Life” released on their cd “Community Music”.The vocals on this piece are by Assata Shakur recorded in Havanna ,Cuba.Dr Das, Sun J,Deeder,Chandrasonic , Pandit G and Bobby Dubman created a mix
which reminds one of the raw creative vitality of early Lee “Scratch ” Perry recordings.One of our all time favorite collaborations!
